About Badharmata ji
Location & History
This temple is situated 60-70 km away from the world-famous tourist place Udaipur in Rajasthan, the historic place Chittaurgarh, the religious place Shrinathji Nathdwara and 35 km away from the grand temple of Sawaria Seth. One can reach there by airway from Udaipur, by rail from Chittaurgarh & Mawli junction and by road from Chittaurgarh Udaipur Highway.
Kuldevi Shri Badharmata Temple is situated in the high hills of Tanagaon, Kanadkheda, this temple was built about 66 years ago by Mistri of Chaukola.
Local people know Badhar Mata by name of Bijasan Mata. The natural atmosphere at the temple located on a hill is very inspiring. This temple is also a health centre for local people. It is believed that one can get rid of any illness if one encircles two windows located here. There is great festivity on the occasion of both Navratras. Mataji is fed here with raisins.
